Last few moments of a german tiger crew.

Tried experimenting with a more black and white style.

aaaaaaah a tiger tank. the tank isnt too bad. but i prefer american made vehicles. FUN FACT: the soviets used some shermans, because we gave them some. so that means the got some thompsons. YAYA!

Yeah, they also made good use of P-63 Kingcobras, P-47s and even a few crash-landing P-51Ds.

Oh those Nazis.
That one gunner loks like he doesn't like killing Russians.

yeah hearing that in WWI that they gave the Marines the ranking of ''ELITE storm troopers'' and called them Dogs from hell must have been one heck of a compliment

Hehe yeah. It would be interesting if the marines fought in Europe and not just the Pacific during WW2. At least during the landings.

Awesome job here man.
The scent of the combat is well noticed, with the acknowledgment of defeat is coming.

Sort of reminds me of the battle of the German Tiger Ace SS-Hauptsturmführer Michael Wittmann, where he road into his final battle with the 1st Northamptonshire Yeomanry Regiment and was flanked by Canadian Sherbrooke Fusiliers Regiment into a kill box of British Firefly tanks, the only tanks at the time that could penetrate the Tiger tank.

thanks! Yeah ive heard about that battle. A sad end for a man who practically single-handedly pwned the British advance in Villers-Bocage.

That's because he caught them with their pants down, LITERALLY.
The British convoy was having their teatime/lunch what ever when he came rolling out of the bush.

It seems even the crew know that the Tiger can't save them but the SS ideology fueled officer forces them on towards inevitable death. Awsome work even though it is sad.

WOW :jawdrop: I said it on msn and I say it AGAIN, this just looks beyond awesome! I just love how you've shaded it only black and white with great focus on the the commander and the soldier closest to us. this is STYLE and little else can be said about it.
I love the feverish fantatic face on the officer because he is not gonna die without taking someone down with him and theres the terrific contrast of the sad and resigned face on the soldier who knows he about to die but don't want to but see no other way out and has resigned to his fate.
(okey perhaps I find too much in this picture =P)

wow this is just as good and better in it's own way as that ww1 drawing you did. I mean the drawing makes me feel bad of that poor soldier and that just shows how much expression you have managed jam in here

Dude, the art diagaonal line shading is fantastic; it really creates a fascinating image. Real dark, real gritty, and the first thing my eyes go to are the eyes of the doomed tiger crew.
